1 month shy of 2 years! What?!

That's right, the girls are 23months old today! They are getting more hilarious, independent, creative, and talkative by the day. This past week has been an interesting one for naps - instead of napping, they play peek-a-boo and jump up in down in their cribs until they get bored....then, they take off all their clothes and laugh. No wonder they're so excited to go down for naps! There's no sleeping involved!!!! They've also had some funny phrases recently - saying, "Go, Peyton Manning!" and "Brett Favre, OH NO!" and "Ama and Daco bus fun!" (they went on their first bus ride with my parents this week) and "Worm, no step on it" and "Macie sleeping. Macie, wake up!" (thanks, Caroline :) and "peanut butter time" and "Y - people swimming" (we've been going to the YMCA, which is awesome! I can't keep up, but it sure is fun to talk to Macie and Caroline. I can't believe they turn 2 in one month!!!!

Grover and Elmo!

Check these hats and scarves out! The girls were SOOOOO excited about the early birthday presents that cousin Lexi made for them. Can you believe how awesome they are! Macie (Grover) and Caroline (Elmo) have been sporting them all around town!

Daddy Camp!

While I was gone on my annual Father/Daughter trip, Mike was having a Father/Daughter Fun Week of his own! Here is the one picture he took of the girls at the zoo - unfortunately, while he had his back turned, a squirrel ate Macie's snacks and went to the bathroom all over the stroller! Other than that, they had a great week playing with friends, Ama, and going on field trips!

After 30min of hiking in the rain, it finally turned to snow. We kept going and the trail became calm and beautiful. We stopped next to the stream for a break before we headed back.
