Three-year Check-up

Macie and Caroline met my family doctor, Dr. McCandless, for the first time last month. We decided to switch from their pediatrician so that we could all have the same doc - she's also the one who was my doctor when I found out I was pregnant and she her "the" heartbeat so many years ago before I even knew there were twins in there!

Big kids! They're so average now - who can remember when Macie was in the 0-3%?!?! Of course, they don't measure their heads anymore.... those were always in the 90+ percentile :) Here's a picture of C and M wearing their hospital gowns and looking super-cute:

French "Ba-rade" for Caroline

I think Caroline thought she was getting a Parade in her hair, but Emily gave her a beautiful French Braid! First ever! What long hair :)

The girls wanted RED TOES! So, of course, Max wanted them, too. Look at all those cute toesies!

Another birthday (and a lot more candles!)

Flowers, Southern-themed party, Lots of ORANGE (go Vols!), a family dinner, and book club birthday celebrations - what could be better!? I had the best birthday week! (Not to mention a girl's yoga/dinner night!) It sure makes getting old easier :)

Aunt Lindsay's Visit

We got a wonderful visit from soon-to-be Aunt Lindsay in March! She was here for a conference, but we somehow managed to get in some great trips - to Alki Beach, the Sculpture Park, the Zoo, and of course, TOP POT! Check out the girls' new birthday hats! Come back soon, Lindsay :)

Lollipop RACE

Gotta love those track suits! The girls were pumped to race in their second lollipop race, put on by my high school... They did not like the starting guns, though. And, Macie decided to be a reluctant particpant (holding both Mike's and Emily's hands!), while Caroline and Max ran through the finish to get their prizes!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Caroline and Macie took St. Patty's Day very seriously this year and went through all their clothes to find GREEN! And, look at those creations! Very impressive :)

Soccer Saturdays!

Some fun pictures from our first month of Soccer Saturdays, which consists of me (who knows nothing about soccer) getting between 3 and 10 three-year olds to run and dribble their balls in the same general direction for about 10 minutes... followed by coffee, bagels, and a fun play date! What a great tradition!
