Happy Halloween! It's finally here!!!

The girls loved getting dressed up, wearing "make-up", seeing Ama, getting a creepy, awesome family photo on accident, and Trick-or-Treating with Max (from Where the Wild Things are - 3 years in a row!). Macie loved being a frog and Caroline, of course, loved being a princess. Adorable together :)

Spooky Smith Quadrennial Halloween Party

AAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH! Don't be scared - it's just our 2nd ever Halloween party - the first was the day before we got our ultrasound when I was 19weeks pregnant with the girls - - and when we found out we were having 2!!!! Fun night and fun memories :)

Portland

We had so much fun visiting Dave and Stacey in Portland - and their three little ones, Finley and Tsai (2.5 year old twins) and Sylvie (almost 1!). The girls loved picking apples, chatting with the neighbor's horsies, reading, watching Dora and just being silly together. We can't wait to play again soon.

Ballet Recital #2!

Can you feel the excitement? The girls loved performing again - Caroline especially kept her eyes on the audience, while Macie focused more on her form :) It was adorable. We especially loved the super-long tutus that tripped them up a bit and the little girl that laid face-down on the floor throughout the entire recital. Ah, three year olds!

Booster Seats Already!

How did Macie and Caroline grow so fast? Out of carseats and into boosters... and they love it!

Way to keep twins busy for 2 hours....

EW - goo.... Caroline and Macie LOVED the slime they got from the Fall Festival! Mike and I didn't mind the occupied minds :)

Pumpkin Scooping!

It was hard to get the girls to look at the camera because they were so busy scooping pumpkin seeds - messy and fun! And, yummy after we roasted them! Look at Caroline rolling up her sleeves....

Cup o Tea?

Caroline, Macie and I decided to enjoy a cup o' tea in their new teacups from Aunt Lindsay's bridal shower (all from Lindsay's grandmother's teacup collection!) and my teacup from Mike's family (Vicki's mother's china). So fun and we love thinking about our foremothers when we're toasting together :)

Candy Land!

Jason and Tina brought over Candy Land and taught the girls how to play! It was Jason's board from when he was a little boy :)

Dressing up like scuba divers (our interpretation)

Apparently, the scuba divers at Edmond's Beach made a big impression on the girls! They must have lots of cool gadgets stuffed in every corner of their suits - here, the girls show what they think they looked like! Love the double hat look, Caroline :)

Windsocks!

Oh, Edmond's Beach, how we love you! We had so much fun there this summer and into late September.... Here, the girls decided to make their fishing nets into windsocks, just like the one on the ferry dock
!

What a great babydoll cuddle...

Aw, Macie, you are going to be such a sweet mommy someday!

Ballet started again!

Meet Rowdy - our new dog (kind of....)

Macie and Caroline show off the newest member of the Smith household - Rowdy! He is the best present EVER from our favorite boutique down the road, Fresh, that decided to close its doors this fall. While we're said the store is done, we're excited to have Rowdy to cuddle and train and play with!
