Macie's ticker update

We got a wonderful voicemail from one of the Cardiology Nurses at Children's last week. She said that the results from Macie's 24-hr Holter (heart) Monitor showed a completely normal heart pumping away! She said we don't even need to come in to meet with the Pediatric Cardiologist until Macie starts school!!!! That's 4 years! We're so happy!

A Sunny Day (finally!)

Here are the girls ready to go for a walk, in their big girl shoes, with their Jen BP hats on, and NO blanket!? But, it snowed this morning - how can it be so warm this afternoon? Notice how much they love their Snack Traps - great invention!

Budding Artists or Hungry Babies?

Caroline and Macie's first attempt to DRAW with CRAYONS! It was a mix of being in awe of these new toys, trying to pick up the lines they drew, and wanting to eat the crayons. And, now we have their artwork hanging up.

YOU stole my sippy!

Macie's not letting Caroline get away with it this time! They point at everything all the time now!

Reading time!

Celeste reading to Macie and Caroline (and to her sister, Seren). Look how much fun Caroline is having!

Melon Macie and Lemon Liney

Cousins Gabe and Jonathan and Aunt Cheryl came to hang out with us today so that they could see Grandpa Charlie while he's visiting. Well, Cheryl has always been able to tell the girls apart - until recently, when she's gotten them wrong a lot! Jonathan (he's 9) seems to have no trouble keeping them straight, so he told us all how he tells them apart - Macie's head looks like a melon and Caroline's head looks like a lemon - Pretty hilarious! Hence their new nicknames:

Melon Macie

and

Lemon Liney
And, here's a picture of Gabe and Jon enjoying the baby toys!

First Step for Macie!

Yesterday was a big day for Macie! She decided she wanted to start standing by herself a lot and at the end of the day, she took a step and didn't fall down - twice! Caroline is warming up to the idea of walking, although she'd prefer to hold your hand than do it by herself. I'll post of picture of them in their big girl shoes soon!
