Not the best ending to our anniversary weekend (and 5 days before we left for Atlanta)! We woke up at 33:30am to our water alarm going off downstairs.... Seattle had gotten HEAVY rain for a couple days (unusual for Seattle actually - we're used to drizzle). Our drain outside our basement wasn't draining fast enough and water was POURING into our basement. Good thing we were home and Mike installed an alarm after the last flood! We got our drain snaked at 6am, after which the girls woke up, of course! Then, right before naps, Caroline noticed some spots on our bedroom ceiling - roof leak! AUGH! This picture is of Mike and Jason looking for the faulty nail/shingle while Tina and I tried to entertain the girls....
